Notice the color fidelity reflected off the wall. The wall will glow blue only when there is blue on the screen and not all the time, as in some CRTs. The wall will only glow white only when there is white on screen. When the screen is black, the TV basically disappears and there is no light reflected off the wall at all. Some may say that watching a video of an OLED is pointless on an ordinary screen, but here you can still notice those things worthwhile. This was recorded with an iPhone 4. The images displayed on the XEL-1 are from a PSP with an HDMI converter. The audio is coming out of the XEL-1′s speakers. The flickering and apparent over-saturation of colors are a result of the iPhone 4′s camera and are NOT how the screen actually looks. The XEL-1′s refresh rate is 60 FPS while the iPhone 4 records at 30 FPS. Also, the XEL-1 has a slightly mirrored glass surface, so some of the over-saturation is caused by light reflecting off the wall and back to the XEL-1.

@pmcted2. I don’t have professional equipment to measure it, but with my own eyes, yes, a white screen does appear to be a “perfect” white.

I don't see anything weird about the fragrance they release in the store. If they know that women tend to buy more then you need to appeal to them as much as you can. I think I've been to 3 of these Sony Style stores and I haven't noticed any manufactured aroma.

i use my two feet to get just about everywhere i go and i use the bus when they are running to get to and from work….but i have to walk home much of the time or walk to work….great exercise but sucks bc its 4 miles one way

It is easy and cheap to reprofile the blade using sandpaper. You can put it on glass surface to get V shaped edge or on wood and lether or mouse pad to get convex edge (which I prefer). Then you will have easy job of sharpening blade using stones (ceramic or whetstones) or fine sandpaper. Check out virtouvice videos. Sometimes you get sharp knife from the box but I couldn't care less for that because I always put acute convex and then micro V on my blades.
