  1. so glad the ps vita will have an oled screen

  2. KOREAN MANUFACTURERS ARE THE BEST WHEN MAKING NEW INNOVATIONS..
`JUST LIKE SAMSUNG, THEY CREATED THE FIRST 8-MEGAPIXEL CAMERA PHONE (INNOV8) AND THE FIRST SLIMMEST PHONE THAT MEASURES AT MERE 6.9 INCHES,THEN FOLLOWED BY A NEW TECHNOLOGY,THE AMOLED..IN 2009,THEY RELEASED SUPER AMOLED WITH WAVE AND GALAXY S..AND THE FIRST SLIMMEST 3DTV WAS SAMSUNG SERIES 9000 THAT MEASURES AT 0.9 INCHES..AND ALSO THE FIRST TRANSPARENT AMOLED SCREEN
…I SAY, KOREANS DO GREAT WHEN COMPETING WITH OTHER TOP BRANDS..

  3. LG and Samsung is South Korean brands, however according to recent world people survey, Why do over 50% people think, those brands are Japanese companies? LoL

SAMSUNG’s original meaning is “Three Star”
LG’s original name is “Lucky Goldstar (in Korean name Geum Sung (Venus)”

  4. last year LED was the hype….I hope this year (2011) they mass produce OLED screens

  5. B THE BEST OLED

  6. @DiogoE6 OLED TV’s do/will have 3D capabilities

  7. @folder766 actually they are much more robust than LCD tv, as only one component is required for emission, the self illuminating, electroluminescent organic film. so theoretically, it should be impossible to smash an OLED screen

  8. I want to use this as a desktop monitor!!! Suuweett!!

  9. I saw the 11″ Sony OLED in a shop and was not impressed. The movie on display had serious trailing issues I’ve not seen on LCDs in the last 2-3 years. I really hope that’s completely eliminated. Also.. It won’t at all be worth the price for the next 5-10 years.

  10. Drool. I imagine something that beautiful is quite fragile though. Would hate to have to move it around too much. What’s the price, £10,000?

  11. CookieMonzta1995

@7Slate oh yeh just remembering now the 1st year they came out it was like £3000-4000 pounds for a 30-40 inch xD

  12. @CookieMonzta1995

Dont worry, OLED TVs will eventually go down in price when companies are ready for mass production.

Its just like how LCDs and Plasmas were way expensive back in the day.

  13. by the time this TV comes out people will be all over 3D TV’s

  14. CookieMonzta1995

I don’t think Oled screens are going to really cause any sort of impact unless they make them a lot cheaper. Oled TV’s should actually be cheaper because they cost less materials to make are easier to make and shipping should be less of a problem because they are smaller and lighter. Plus you can make flex screens with oled’s and paper thin screens.

  15. @sirlookass
Yes true, but It’s becoming very expensive unit cost with increasing per 1inch square. ;-(
    An Oled screen developer said.

  16. Nicely avoiding difficult questions mister Mead, well done. Yes, we know it’s 2,9mm deep, but we do not care, we want bigger sizes and you could not answer that question and why it is not possible yet.

  17. Thats my next computer monitor!!!

  18. 오오오오오오오오오ㅗ오오ㅗ오오오ㅗ오오오ㅗ오오 놀라워라 OLED TV 나오네

  19. The Mithraic Ritual by George Mead in 1907. It has been proven that what Mead had found was Gnostic liturgy, not Mithraic.

Steve- Interestingly enough, Geisler claims in his book that Ron Nash once argued that it was Mithraism which borrowed from Christianity in order to try to survive in the Roman Empire!]]>

  20. Lets watch from both sides : Transparent OLED TV
