Samsung was at CEBIT 2008 in Germany with their 31″ OLED TV as well as their OLED TV roadmap:
Samsung was showing an 31” uber-thin OLED TV at CEBIT. While this is interesting, it is hardly new – except to remind us that the company is making steady progress in this area. In the past, Epson demonstrated a 40” OLED TV (2004), followed by Samsung has shown a 21” OLED TV (2005), then Samsung came back to demonstrate a 40” OLED TV too (07/2005). Between then and now, OLED TVs have gotten better, thinner and nicer, but Samsung itself said that there would be no large Samsung commercial OLED before 2010

you clearly have no idea what your talking about. this song is awesome, especially when played by Steve Vai, arguably one of the top guitarists of today. also, they didn't kill their company, hence why they are still going, and still supporting their content, other than valve, Bungie are probably the only company i can think of that are still supporting a game fully with new playlists etc etc nearly 3 years after release.

Yes, Hancock sucked. I don't agree with anything else. Sony's OLED TV is breathtaking. And Sony was the *first* to do an eInk-based eBook device, so they are the pioneers in that area. They've done three generations of it, more than any other company.
OLEDS are certainly cool, but I really took issue with the “look how thin it is!!” marketing BS in my Audio/Video mag. Yeah, thin, unless you look at the HUGE base station underneath it. So, if it were oriented on the back of the panel, how exactly would it be thinner than an LCD?Not debating the superiority of the quality and contract, though. OLED is definitely the future. But more work needs to be done on creating thinner circuits for the drivers. If SONY just left off the *shell game* of “Look at how thin it is!” from their promo hype (hence inflated price driven purely by marketing) the world would be a slightly better place. It is an insulting marketing ploy. How thin would LCDs be if you moved all of it's electronics to a huge base station? My laptop screen is pretty darn thin, too.I predict the XEL-1 will flop because most people just aren't that stupid. Hopefully OLED TV technology survives it, though.
y the hell do we need this 4 ? at pt do i wanna c my screen bent 2 distort everything im seeing wtf ?!

No, if I'm paying $9,000 for a freaking hdtv… it's stays put. No freaking mistakes on my part. Only mother nature 'earthquake – flood – tornado or a fire' is going to touch it. And if someone breaks in to steal it… they die!

Samsung shows flexible 3D OLED TV concept
3D works by projecting 2 diffrent images to right/left eye and your brain combines them to make the 3d effect. Obviously we at the youtube end get the same image to both eyes so no 3d effect
